Free Blender Bottle

Blender Bottle for Free?  I couldn’t believe it either when I read about it over on Fatwallet.com.  One of my purchases when I started was a good shaker bottle for my protein drinks.  I purchased one years ago when I was really into lifting and since then pieces of it were lost in some moves and it found it’s purpose as a tub toy (for the kids - not me).  I did my research and found out that everyone raves about the Blender Bottle.  If you’re not familiar with this unique shaker bottle, this mixer features a stainless steel whisk ball.  When you give it a shake, the whisk ball does a great job of stirring up what ever concoction you put into it.  While it’s not a substitute for an electric blender, it’s quiet, so it’s perfect for my early morning workouts.

GNC has these for $8.99 and you can find them as cheap as $6.49 on Amazon, but iHerb.com has their version with the website’s name on it for $4.99 and with the $5.00 off coupon code shown on Fatwallet.com, you pay as little as $1.01 for the blender bottle shipped to your door.

Day 36 Still at it, no time to blog

Hey blog readers, I haven’t dropped out after my 30 day milestone.  As a matter of fact I just finished my Chest, Shoulders, Triceps and Ab Ripper X Day 36 P90X workout.  The Daylight Saving Time switch has really messed up my circadian rhythm so I have had to do my workout at night, since I sleep too late in the morning.  I can “Bring IT!” in the morning, in the evening…not so much.

Took my 30 day photos, but don’t want to post them until I write a thorough 30 day review.

Plyo tomorrow! Keep pushing play!

P90X Review Chest, Shoulders & Triceps, Ab Ripper X (Day 29 - Phase 1)

Started Phase 2 on Tuesday.  It was great to start some new exercises.  After the rest day I’m usually anxious to start my day with Tony and the P90X gang.  So many new moves, there are 24 different exercises on this day’s P90X DVD.  They move through it at a pretty fast pace, so I had to hit the pause button so I could record my stats.  Love the way they go from chest,  to shoulders, to triceps and then repeat for an hour.

Wow, that’s pretty sneaky saving the one-arm push-ups after your arms are fried from the previous 21 exercises.   Talking about feeling the burn…yow!

Continued to improve on the Ab Ripper X.  I worked up more of a sweat on the Ab Ripper X workout than the C, S, and T workout.

Tuesday night was weigh-in night and was bummed to see only a .5 pond weight loss this week.  At least I was moving the needle in the right direction.

Rest Day (Day 28 - Phase 1)

Took the day off on Monday for rest day.
